Back To School

So this week the salon had a little makeover, a fresh coat of paint, some fix-ups here & there, the instalment of our new product shelf and also our blackboard! This will feature a quote of the week, a daily weather forecast and any other news we would like to share. Its just a bit of fun, taken inspiration from my brother in law who has a similar thing at his place of work in Soho House. We have also acquired some mini blackboards for our mini “Topets” to try their art work out on, as we can imagine the temptation of ours maybe all too much to resist.

We have had a busy week with lots of our lovely regular clients through the door as well as welcoming some new faces to The Topiary. We met a lovely lady called Sam with her 3 gorgeously polite daughters on Tuesday, it was supposed to be 3 simple back-to-school hair cuts which turned into washes, cuts, blow-dries, straightening and the planning of 10 year old Chloe’s pamper party! We will be sure to bring you update and more information on our children’s parties next week. This Saturday we are proud to be assisting with a lovely village wedding. Both Vicky and myself will be out of the salon and giving all our attention to the beautiful bride and her wedding party. It has the best lavender scent you could possibly imagine, thanks to the Lavender Flower Water, and it leaves no sticky residue either. All in all Anti G has to be one of my top 5 KM products.

And Finally… we are very sad to announce that we are losing a valued member of our team. Keely has decided to take a different career path and will be leaving us next week. Keely has been a valued member of our team, a good friend and I know many of you will miss her too. She is a very talented hairdresser and wedding stylist and her replacement has big shoes to fill. Her absence will be felt in my team, and we wish her all the success for the future.
