Now the time has come for the clocks to spring forward an hour, and the weather is feeling warmer by the day, we are getting in the mood for new and fabulous things to happen at The Topiary!!!

Networking Mummies Business Awards.

As you may already know, The Topiary were nominated for a Networking Mummies Recognition National Business Award. We received an exciting tweet last month, confirming we have been finalised in their Small Business of the Year Award. I have been invited to attend a rather glitzy black tie award ceremony this Saturday at Jury’s Inn in Birmingham where the winners will be announced.

Networking Mummies UK Ltd has 27 branches in the UK and supports mums, dads and families in business with free networking events and affordable workshops. They provide online and offline support and they do not charge membership fees which means people can attend when they want. This is the second time Networking Mummies UK Ltd have hosted their National Business Awards to recognise the hard working mums and dads across the country. Jacqueline Gold, Owner of Ann Summers, Chris White, MP of Leamington & Warwick and Janey Lee Grace, BBC Radio 2 Presenter have judged this years awards.

Obviously we are thrilled to be nominated for a national small business award and to finalise and invited to such an event, is super exciting. Networking communities like Networking Mummies give crucial guidance and support to mums and dads, like me who want to pursue not only a career, but to build a company for our children’s future and contribute to our local economy. I am taking my BFF with me for moral support and we’ll let you know how we get on. I’m sure we can manage a selfie or two.
